Responsibility and values - a part of the culture

A responsible behavior in relation to our employees and the environment is not only important to us - it is a prerequisite for our existence. Therefore, we continuously work to form a corporate culture built on our basic values: People, Service and Integrity. These values affect all parts of our business. They are easy to understand and simple to apply.

The backbone of our operations

On behalf of our customers, Loomis’ employees handle great responsibilities daily. For Loomis’ employees, it is crucial to have high integrity, a strong sense of security, ethics and morals, the right competence, and a desire to always exceed customer expectations. We continuously work to create a corporate culture with strong values which can be summarized in the following three key words: 

People:  We are committed to developing quality people and treating everyone with respect.

Service:  We strive for exceptional quality, innovation, value and exceeding customer satisfaction.

Integrity: We perform with honesty, vigilance and high ethics.

Code of Conduct

Loomis’ code of conduct mirrors our fundamental values. It assures high business ethics, care for our employees, and concern for the environment. The code serves as guidance to all Loomis’ employees and can be summarized in three bullet points:

  • Loomis shall be the most attractive employer in the industry.
  • Loomis shall reduce our operational environmental impact.
  • Loomis shall never accept unethical behavior.

A continuous work

We work continuously on our values and our Code of Conduct. They form a natural part of the introduction to the company for new employees, of education, and leadership development. We place great emphasis on cautiousness and control in the recruitment of new employees. All new recruits undergo basic training and afterwards participate in recurring training sessions.

If suspicion of unethical behavior arises, and if an employee does not want to report to the closest superior, there is an internal reporting tool called Loomis Integrity Line. Any one working within the Loomis Group is entitled to use this tool and draw attention to the actions which counteract our corporate values and code of conduct.

Global agreement

As a part of the work with our Values and our Code of Conduct,  Loomis has signed a Global Agreement with Union Network International and Swedish Transport Workers Union in December 2013. The signing of this agreement strengthen Loomis position regards to social responsibility in the society.
