Loomis AB’s cash handling operation in the United Kingdom Loomis Cash Management Ltd (LCM) has sold its fixed assets and operation to Vaultex UK Ltd jointly owned by HSBC Bank plc and Barclays Bank PLC. The hand over of operation, assets and employees has taken place on November 24, 2007.

Stockholm, October 25, 2007 - The County administrative court in Stockholm has decided that the earlier decision made by Stockholm County administrative board to withdraw Loomis Sweden’s permit to operate cash transports no longer is valid (inhibition). The court’s decision is immediately effective and until that the court finalizes the case.

Lars Blecko has been appointed new Managing Director for Loomis AB, Securitas AB’s cash handling division. He succeeds Håkan Ericson, who was appointed Managing Director in 2006 with the assignment among others to list Loomis on the stock exchange. As a result of the development within Loomis during the past year and the delayed stock exchange listing, the parties have agreed that Håkan Ericson will leave the company.

Loomis Sverige AB will appeal the ruling of the county administrative board in Stockholm County that from February 29, 2008, suspend the company’s permit in operating cash transports in Sweden.

Loomis AB, the Securitas cash handling services division, has acquired Guardian Armored Security Inc., a Michigan based cash handling services company. With this acquisition, Loomis becomes the leading cash handling company in the Michigan market. The purchase price is approximately MSEK 28 (MUSD 4).

Loomis AB, which is Securitas’ cash handling services division, has through its subsidiary Loomis UK Limited acquired Brinks’ cash handling operations in Great Britain. Purchase price is approximately MSEK 15 (MGBP 1.1).

Securitas AB, HSBC Bank plc and Barclays Bank plc have signed a Heads of Terms agreement regarding the intention of Securitas’ cash handling division Loomis to exit the LCM cash handling services that it provides to the two banks in the United Kingdom. The Heads of Terms contemplate that the exit will occur during the fourth quarter of 2007.

In line with the strategy to become the leading company in the local markets where Loomis has a presence, Loomis AB has acquired G4S plc’s cash handling operation in France. Through the acquisition, Loomis, which is Securitas’ cash handling services division, will become the market leader in France. Enterprise value is estimated to approximately 230 MSEK (MEUR 24.4).

As a part of the work preparing for a listing Securitas division Loomis launches their own website www.loomis.com. The website is structured to meet with demands media and capital markets have on listed companies. The creation of an independent profile is a condition for the upcoming listing.
