Loomis is unique in having a seperate and highly focussed Technical Division, the major part of which is dedicated to ATM maintenance. This includes a national team of field-based engineers who are fully trained but who are also vetted and trained in security operations; this allows single person access to remote and branch ATM's (including out of hours) without the traditional need for an additional security guard. This both enhances the cost effectiveness of the solution and also allows for greater operational flexibility and quicker response times. All focussed on delivering enhanced availability.
The engineers are managed via secure communications from the National Control Centre in Warwick; this houses a unique call management system called Loomis Vision which both schedules the engineers to the highest priority calls and also delivers superb and market-leading data to the customer. This data is available in real-time via the web and allows the customer to view the status of all outstanding calls and the fixes being undertaken.
Loomis Vision also drives the suite of management information tools that demonstrate the level of performance achieved by account, region, ATM type or even by engineer.
This unique solution is being further developed to include a dynamic cash forecasting tool that optimises both the value of cash and frequency of visits.
